Dusti Harvey is the principal of The Harvey & Foote Law Firm, LLC in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Prior to forming her law firm, she directed all aspects of litigation as corporate counsel for a national nursing home chain for more than six years. She was in charge of the alternative dispute resolution program and traveled the United States mediating over 1,500 nursing home cases.
Ms. Harvey devotes a significant portion of her practice advocating for the well-being of elderly individuals residing in nursing homes, group homes, assisted living facilities and retirement homes. She lectures nationwide at seminars regarding nursing home neglect and abuse. Ms. Harvey also practiced law as an associate for a large civil defense firm with a focus on insurance defense, medical malpractice and automobile accidents.
Ms. Harvey is on the board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and the Nursing Home Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice. She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, New Mexico Women’s Bar Association and the National Citizens’ Coalition for Nursing Home Reform.
Jennifer Foote joined the Harvey & Foote Law Firm, LLC in 2007. Jennifer is admitted to practice in the State of New Mexico, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice (AAJ) and the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group. She serves as a Commissioner on the New Mexico Access to Justice Commission and Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. She is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French.
Caela Baker graduated with honors from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2012. She was the recipient of a Dean’s Award for significant contributions to the law school community, and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Prior to joining the Harvey & Foote Law Firm, she served as a staff attorney to the New Mexico Legislature in Santa Fe. Since then, she has dedicated her career to representing injured plaintiffs in cases involving nursing home abuse and neglect, hospital negligence, wrongful death, and other serious injuries. She is a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), and AAJ’s Nursing Home Litigation Group.
Juliet Keene is an Albuquerque native and graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2008. She has since practiced in the civil litigation arena, specializing in nursing home litigation and health care law. She served as the Deputy Division Director of Attorney General Hector Balderas’s Medicaid Fraud & Elder Abuse Division and has represented families in numerous abuse, neglect, personal injuries, and wrongful death cases. She has worked with the Harvey & Foote team for five years, having joined the firm in 2008 and returned in 2017.
