Road hazards can result in catastrophic injuries in New Mexico

Shoulder drops, uneven lanes, potholes and the like can be rather annoying to those traveling in cars or other four-wheel vehicles. However, for motorcyclists in New Mexico and elsewhere, these road hazards can be very dangerous. If one must perform an evasive maneuver while riding a motorcycle and finds one of these hazards in his or her path, what should have been a life-saving maneuver could quickly turn into quite the opposite, resulting in catastrophic injuries or even death.

Children who are too young to know the inherent dangers of many common household items can get hurt very easily in the average home. The idea, however, comes at a cost -- one that opponents say is not worth it when it comes to a person's right to privacy.
